Ulapane Fool’s Bridge (උලපනේ මොඩයගේ පාලම)
The bridge built over Mahaweli River at Ulapane has a special feature. It’s iron frame was constructed upside down. This was built in British colonial period and it happened as a mistake. They said the British Engineer has committed suicide.

Ramboda falls ..

Ramboda Falls                                 Is 109 m (358 ft) high   and 11th highest waterfall in sri lanka   and 729th highest waterfall in the world.  It is situated in kothmle  area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass.    It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of kothmale oya.  Altitude of the falls is 945 m (3,100 ft) above sea level.    Information - google( wikwikipidya)

Kadiellena falls

The full Kataboola cascade consists of 3 levels. The Main Nawalapitiya road crosses this fall on a old arch bridge bisecting the 2nd and 3rd segments. The first and the top most segment falls in the single stream. The generally accepted height of 8 meters of Kataboola fall is probably the height of the 1st segmemt. From the pool below the 1st segment, the water falls to the second pool over a wide rock creating the second part. This creates a wide segment of about 6-7 meters. Then the water flows under the arch bridge and the creates the final segment of the fall underneath the bridge. The complete waterfall with all three segment probably 25 meters in height. Kataboola Ella Falls (aka Kataboola Estate Falls) is located in Kadiyanlena village, 10 km away from Nawalapitiya. Thus this waterfall is also called Kadiyanlena Falls.
